    Hello!

We’ve been talking with the CIO about this and it looks promising! We will keep you posted on our progress!

    Love,
    USG

    UPDATE:

This is a big topic and CCIT knows students want this. Last year there was not enough time to make the change but this year CCIT is starting earlier so current seniors can have this for when they graduate. USG can not promise this will happen this year but working with CCIT we hope it does.

There was also a break-in to a home just a block away from campus and yet, nothing happened. I saw someone who was EXTREMELY sketchy on campus last semester, and no recourse for that either.

    UPDATE:
Sevy Swift, USG’s Vice President, came with a solution that makes it easier to share study rooms in Brown with other students. Sevy designed and installed ‘occupancy signs’ which make it clear to other students if someone is willing to share a study room. We hope that this increases the occupancy of the study rooms in Brown. We would like to hear feedback on this new system and are open for other suggestions!

    Sincerely,
    USG

Most people don't mind you sitting with them in there if you just ask! I know I will use study rooms and be the only person in there just to have a table to write on (ESPECIALLY in MZ) and its more than fine with me if someone asks to use the room with me.

We looked into this and were told that the costs of having the same programs and software on all computers on campus would require a massive economic investment and thus increase the technology fee by a lot. This is why CCIT chooses to put select software in certain computer labs. However, CCIT created a list with which computer labs have specific software installed and we hope that this helps you.

The sanitary product machines have not been refilled for quite some time due to the fact they they just are not used frequently enough. If the products are in the machines too long, they expire and are not usable. We have addressed this issue and custodial is removing all machines that are not attached to the building. Those that are attached will have signs posted on them that explain the machines are not in use. We hope this addresses your issues.
    Sincerely,
    USG

This is something USG has been working on over the past few years. In the school’s 5 year plan they’re planning to construct a parking garage that would bring around 700 new spots. This is a project will take multiple years to complete and the recent price increases are going towards the construction of this parking garage. Feel free to comment below with anymore questions or concerns, come in to our Senate meetings, or come to our office hours!
    Sincerely USG!

With a commuter parking pass, I have to get here by 7 AM for a good spot. Fine by me as an early bird, but to see so few spots for ANYONE is ridiculous. Commuter passes are nearly 100 dollars as well, and if we have to pay to park for a school we already pay boatloads for, we should have a better parking situation that doesn't require people to get to school up to 2 hours (a minimum for me) before their first class.
