USG talked with Rob Thompson, the director of REC sports and John Howard about this issue. Apparently, there is a new online facility request system. John assures that this system will help students connect to outdoor facilities in an easier way.

Also, the tennis courts are planned to have extensive repairs this spring/summer.

    UPDATE

That new online facility reques website is: events.mines.edu

I totally agree. I have tried to get on the tennis courts during school year even (I'm on the club team) by filling out the forms and I was ignored several times and then told I would not be allowed on as they didn't want to send somebody down to unlock the gates and check blaster cards for me

Also, as someone on the club team, those courts are horrible. But a few years ago the school said they would sooner pay and pave a parking lot than resurfacing the courts so there's no way to approach the school about this . It's ridiculous that they are so terrible.

Can you please explain more about what you mean by emails? Emails from USG, from the school, from who?
    Thank you

    UPDATE:
If you are speaking about emails coming from Mines then you should have noticed less email after the daily-blast was implemented. This system puts all the schools info on one page so that it is not constantly being sent to you in several emails each day.

If you have any other comments please share them below.

What is the point of USG having this site if they don't address key issues like this?

    UPDATE:

This issue has been resolved. USG treached out to facilities and a work order 92753 was made and accomplished.

    Love
    USG

The USG Sophomore Class sent out a survey about exam rooms and we received very valuable feedback on testing rooms. Berthoud 241 is one of the locations that need improvements and the Sophomore Class completely agrees with you. We are currently talking to the Registrar about changing/improving the exam rooms used in common hour exams.
    Thank you for you time!

    Sincerely,
    USG
