The girls chose to go on stage to dance, not to get grinded on or picked up by the artist. To allow things like this to happen and to ignore it completely is a hard perpetuation of rape culture which Mines itself already allows far too much on campus. If you were to watch a man go up and literally pick some people up when they did not consent, what would you do? Would you sit and tell the people who were offended to leave and let him get away with it or would you do something?
Good afternoon! Thank you for voicing your concern to us! After talking with President Johnson and confirming with Parking Services, we have confirmed that they will not be extending paid parking restricted hours on campus! As verified in the Daily Blast on 9/17/18, parking confirmed this to be true. FEAR NOT MINES, PARKING SHALL REMAIN 7am-5pm Monday-Friday! Let us know if any other concerns should arise! Thank you.

USG will release soon the allocation numbers from last school year where you can see how much money MAC requested and how much that is subdivided into all the different events they put on.
USG has now completed putting allocations on our website: http://mines.orgsync.com/org/usg/home
