    Hello,

    The two reasons we haven’t been doing them is because one: we want the USG reps to focus on issues on campus and be proactive in addressing them. In previous years we haven’t done well with actually trying to improve the campus, the main thing classes would do was make tshirts. So we are trying to stray away from that to make USG more effective. Two: Money is not allocated to tshirts.

    If you don’t feel that this was a good plan or have other feedback please let us know! We can reopen the ticket if need be!

    We spoke to an employee at Sherpa House and they said that the discount was taken away for financial reasons. When we asked if there was any chance that they would bring it back they did not sound optimistic. Sorry we can’t do anything to fix this!

    This also makes me sad and hungry! I will take this to our next USG meeting to see how we can help. I’m thinking of sending them a letter from USG on behalf of the students.

    UPDATE: We are going to decline this issue right now since it was posted so long ago but if it still an issue please just post again and then we will address it. We just don’t know if this is still an issue since it’s been two years.

    The Junior Class USG is willing to take this project on. To formally voice your opinion and/or suggestions, stop by their office hours in Digger Den at 5-6pm on Wednesdays or by email at samcoope@mymail.mines.edu.
