    AdminMines USG (Undergraduate Student Government, Undergraduate Student Government) responded

    USG has polled this issue and unfortunately the school is divided on it. Some love the music and like to play there while others can not study with i being played.

    Since this is not the only study space on campus and students can easily put on headphones and some students like the piano, USG is declining this suggestion.

  3. Fix the damper pedal on the slate piano or move the BB piano to slate.

    UPDATE:
    After speaking with the Brown building manager it was decided that the piano is staying in Brown.

    There was a tuner working on the piano on the 17th of September. The facilities people will be notified that there is a problem with the pedal. The idea of moving the pianos are also under serious consideration and the logistics have making that happen are being looked into.

    Viewed and will be brought up at the USG meeting on September 18, 2014 at 6:00PM.
