Tissues in academic buildings
Its been a pretty rough flu season. Could we get tissue boxes placed in easily accessible spots in the academic buildings?

I'd support this if students were required to wash their hands after using the tissues

Thank you for voicing your concern! We have reached out to the Director of Facilities Management on campus about this issue. Please keep posting any additional details that develop so we can continue to support your concerns. We will keep you updated on this page.
Love,
USGUpdate: Here is a message from the custodial department. They are fighting the flu as best they can but don't have the budget to provide tissues across campus.
"The custodial department does not have the budget right now for providing tissues throughout campus. I can tell you what we do already to try to help out. You probably don’t know, but the custodial department utilizes a “mister” machine after hours that essentially mists a room with a disinfectant that lands on all surfaces and disinfects them. We have done this all over campus this year and we try to do this at least at the beginning of each semester and we may do another round again this semester because of the flu season being bad. We also try to regularly wipe down doorknobs, etc. with disinfectant wipes on a regular basis."
Please let us know anything else you may need.
