Breathing in second hand smoke while walking to class, or having to quickly pack up and move from your quiet outside oasis to avoid the fumes is inconvenient. Everyone should be allowed to enjoy all parts of campus without worrying about their lungs or going into coughing fits. Students shouldn't feel confined to indoor study spaces. Campus is small enough to allow smokers to walk an extra block or two to take their smoke breaks away from the high traffic and outdoor areas on campus. There are also cigarettes everywhere. Designate smoking and non-smoking areas as a compromise.
