There aren't enough study areas
Simply put, there aren't enough free tables to study at.
As a student who lives off campus I don't have the luxury of returning to my dorm room to study if all the common areas are full. Some days I'll walk from brown hall, to the library, then coorstek, and finally marquez and have difficulty finding a spot to simply sit down and do work.
This isn't a complaint about the private study rooms. I'd simply like a table to put my laptop and papers on to work between classes.

I agree! There are a lot of lounge chairs and coffee tables in buildings like Marquez and Alderson Hall. While it is great that there is at least seating, it's very difficult to get school work done without actual tables and chairs.
