Honestly it made me uncomfortable too, but they are legal adults and chose to go up on stage because they wanted to. Its not our job as students to police what other students get to do. Also you cant hold MAC responsible for knowing that he would start grinding, they're not psychics and MAC actually got the girls off stage asap after grinding started (and had him apologize to the girls). If you try to add vetting to E-Days artists for what they might do on stage that could make some people uncomfortable, you're going to have a tiny pool of performers to choose from.
While we completely understand your concern, the Rec Center fee is for the greater good of the school. Not only does your fee grant you access into the SRC, but it also allows you to participate in intramurals (for free) and helps keep the Rec Center operational. Physical activity is vital to a healthy atmosphere here at Mines and the Rec Center fee contributes to that. Thanks for your concerns.
Hello! Thank you for voicing your concern to us! After many discussions, it appears that the computer science field session will begin to be offered during both the summer and the fall semesters beginning in 2019! This allows students to have the option of whatever works best with their schedules! More information will be coming in spring 2019 regarding the details of this change. Hopefully this comes as good news!
