Thank you for your beef Ethan! This has quickly become an important issue among students. I have contacted the recreation center to address the cleanliness and safety issues with the gym. Regarding being overcrowded, administration is taking steps to curve the issue with Spruce and Jackson having gyms. Additionally there are future plans to create more indoor recreation space open to all students.

Following further review, the hours were not changed due to the SRC not feeling that it would see enough use during the later hours to have students working during those times. Thank you for your concern and we appreciate you submitting your feedback to us!

Restricting Mines Parking passes for residents of Mines Park is unethical.
Students at Mines Park shouldn't be restricted from getting General/Commuter parking passes when other students who live in Apartments/Houses close enough to campus can. Residence Life previously used the Mines RoVer program as a way to support the claim that Mines Park residents don't need parking passes, but this is not the case anymore. What about the students who have a hard time walking all the way to campus? We shouldn't have to register with Disability Support Services just to be able to get a parking pass while living in Mines Park.
