I have heard that there used to be some kind of hardwood floor in the Student Center ballrooms, but they got rid of them.

Good afternoon! Thank you for voicing your concern to us! After talking with President Johnson and confirming with Parking Services, we have confirmed that they will not be extending paid parking restricted hours on campus! As verified in the Daily Blast on 9/17/18, parking confirmed this to be true. FEAR NOT MINES, PARKING SHALL REMAIN 7am-5pm Monday-Friday! Let us know if any other concerns should arise! Thank you.

Update: Residence life has agreed to provide rent credits to renewing Mines Park residents for June 2018 and January 2019, resulting in only a 2-3% increase in rents (as compared to 2017-2018 rates). This provides Mines Park residents a chance to look for other options over the next year, while the rent is still affordable. This issue can probably be marked as resolved!

After contacting administration we have been told that the only roses that are given to women graduates happen at the SWE Continuum event, typically the Wednesday night before graduation. This was discussed when Elm was first created. The decision was to not connect them because it was not fair to other residence halls if Elm hall had their own entrance.

I agree, but especially think they should waive fees for things like the rec center, construction, athletics, etc. There are a ton of things we won't even be allowed to use!
