Crosswalks on Campus
Has anyone noticed that, though the concrete on the sidewalk will dip and imply that a certain path is ideal for pedestrian crossing, there are technically zero painted cross walks on campus?
The Sophomores are taking this on as a project.
If you would like to talk to them directly their office hours can be found at USG’s website here: http://mines.orgsync.com/org/usg/officers

I agree. There are several popular crossing spots on campus proper, NOT in City of Golden property, that are downright dangerous because cars drive too fast and don't see crosswalk signs so they don't think they have to stop. It's simple enough to put up a couple of signs and paint a crosswalk!

If you read the campus policies, pedestrians have the right of way everywhere on campus, regardless of the presence of a painted crosswalk.
