RTD passes stop working on all breaks?! Even spring break and winter break when students are traveling and are in need for public transport

We already have to pay an incredible amount for school and are completely broke. RTD passes are an absolute necessity!

I agree with this completely. If students have internships in downtown Denver and need to take the light rail to commute, having the RTD college pass is essential. This pass costs $200 per month directly from RTD, when we only have to pay $50 per semester as a student. Mines should work something out with RTD to somehow extend the use of the pass into the summer or allow students to pay $50 for summer use (so that not every student has to pay for it if they don't need it during the summer months). Or, as mentioned below, make the pass work during the summer for every non-second semester senior. I'm trying to make money this summer and not have to immediately give it all back to RTD just to commute.

This isn't Mines fault. Its the contract that RTD offers us

Would like to see the pass also work over Summer break because of internships where travel to and from the airport is essential. You could just have the pass work for each new semester and have it roll over to the next year for all students who took classes in the spring and were not second semester seniors.

And if you try to use your pass at these times, the RTD scanner will flag it inactive and the security will take your pass
