Get rid of the pedestrian zone in the middle of campus!
No one's going to get run over by letting kids ride bikes there, there aren't any problems of people being hit by bikers in the rest of campus. A bike is an easy thing to maneuver, unless you suck at biking you're not hitting anyone. Even if someone got hit by a bike I doubt it would really injure them too much, I've taken much worse falls on my bike and walked away fine. I'd like to know how many people had an injury serious enough to require hospitalization as a result of a bike accident in that area before this policy...
The pedestrian zone will never leave, the school is trying to make Mines a pedestrian campus.

No, stop trying to open it up to skateboards and bikes. The only reason that no one has been hit is because pedestrians have, so far, been able to dodge the uncontrollable skateboarders and ignorant cyclists. The pedestrian zone is one of the better things to have happened to this campus.

The pedestrian zone needs to be expanded, not eliminated. I have yet to see a single cyclist yield to a pedestrian or even stop at a stop sign. They are some of the most irresponsible people on campus.
