Better rec center hours
The rec center needs extended hours.

Last year USG was able to improve the REC center hours on weekends. They are staying open one hour earlier and one hour later on both Saturday and Sunday.
The REC center is currently in debt, but is climbing out of it. We should see more and more hours over the next few years as the REC center as they get out of debt.

We here at the SRC have received the same suggestion in our own comment boxes located in the building. We are currently working with Chris and Sam to fully understand the wants/needs of the student body. Please understand that adding hours to the SRC would have an effect on the budget and may force us to make some tough choices. I would highly recommend anyone who has a strong opinion on this matter, one way or the other, to please utilize Chris and Sam as we continue to work together to provide the best solution for the students.

Hey this is a great idea. Some students who wake up early on weekends like to start their day with a workout. Students may not have the chance to do this with the current rec center hours. Are these early weekend hours what you want extended? Feel free to come to student government office hours and let your voice be heard.
