I think this is a fine idea, since we do have many Muslim students and they do need to pray multiple times per day. But is this really a USG concern? Why not a Christian prayer room, a Satanist prayer room, and another room for people to pray to Willy Wonka? It seems to me that a motivated student can reserve whatever she needs on campus on her own, through an official Muslim student group.

When I was really busy with tons of workload in school, I end up so many times praying at the hallway. A small room would be sufficient for us to pray peacefully on campus.

Why can't you just go to the Islamic Center of Golden on 19th and Jackson?

While I am not saying this is a bad idea, there is a mosque 3 blocks away from campus that was made by students and is run by students. While it is difficult to go there an back between classes, all 5 prayers are prayed in the mosque everyday.
My main critique of this is that this prayer room will become a substitution for going to mosque and the current mosque will be emptied out. Alot of other college campuses have prayer rooms because there is no facilities nearby to accommodate their muslim student body, but when there is a mosque only 3 blocks from campus I really feel that this prayer room isn't justified.

We pray four times during the day and it would be great to not have to search for somewhere quiet/undisturbed every single time. A small room would be sufficient.
